'15 UT DT Boogie Sewell (Verbal to Weber State)

Wait I thought we lost him because our school sucks and we can't even get a decent coach to take the DC job?

I'm glad he found a spot to land. I hate seeing schools back off late, and the kid has no options left.

This is a recruit's thread, so let's remember that. It's fair to say that Colorado (at one time) was willing to overlook the kid's lack of prototypical height. He's got a giant lower body and he's going to give blockers fits trying to move him out of the middle. The height could play into his strengths. He's a load and if that's what your defensive scheme is in need of, he will likely be pretty effective clogging up the middle.

He never had other P5 offers to fall back on (excluding Army - which isn't for everyone). It's often a problem when having to find a place this late. Let's not speculate here on why he decommitted and ended up at Weber State - we have a place for that on these boards. I figured he'd land at UNLV (90 minutes from home) and I'm a bit shocked he did not. I feel bad for the kid if he got caught in that shuffle...

I just hope he gets an education and improves his life. Plenty of people have done well going to Weber State (in football and in life). Good luck to this kid and I hope he does well in whatever he does!
