rivals has him as a 4* and were his first offer, recruiting is a strange business. that being said i'm a star guy so hopefully we get him.

Interesting- he just tweeted he was offered by the Buffs (again)? (Note- Looks like he is currently a Texas A&M commit.)

Makes a difference that his teammate, Ethan Davidson, has a great relationship with Chev and is visiting.

Ethan's not the level of recruit that Boyd is, but could be one of those hustle guys that coaches uncover in recruiting who can be very valuable to a program.

Before anyone asks, no one has said the words "package deal" here. And I don't know whether Ethan is a standard '16 offer type recruit, a GS candidate or PWO guy. All I know is that Coach Chev is on the job and doing work.

Rumors that he might have to go Juco. Maybe a potential benefit for CU if they can help him work through the process.

Would be interesting to know when he could transfer. One article stated "once he graduates from Juco" but as a full qualifier out of HS, I'm not sure that is necessary. I believe he just needs to meet the requirements towards a degree, which may be harder given a poor academic year at aTm.
