Gumbs is the top rated OLB in the west this cycle. Buffs may be a little late to the party, but from twitter it looks like our coaches have now connected. He was going to commit in June, but has delayed it until next month. Recently, he released the following to Scout:

Three schools had been most prominently mentioned for Gumbs, but now seven schools are being considered with an eighth also getting a little attention.

"It's been mostly USC, UCLA and Washington but besides that, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M and Mississippi State are hanging in there," said Gumbs. "Those are the seven schools I could say I'm most interested in."

And a Big Ten school is trying to crack that list too.

"Nebraska is picking it up a little too," said Gumbs.

Looks like he follows Trajon Cotton, Greg Rogers and Alijah-Vera Tucker on twitter. Dam that would be a sweet haul.

The other two P5 transfers to Oregon State were meh. Gumbs is a good one, projected to start for OU this year before he went down with a non contact knee injury. Nice get for OSU.
