'17 TX OT Grant Polley (Signed to COLORADO)

Here's to hoping a team that committed so much time and respect to his family, legitimately has always wanted him, wins out. Texas is doing what Texas is going to do and that's to put a border up around it's state this cycle, hyping recruiting of Texas kids to lift this program back up and if they end up taking 22-25 kids from Texas, that will be a huge win for them. They will be offering any talented kid that has committed outside the state so KD Land, Polley, Newman, all these guys are going to be hearing a lot more from Texas. Easier for their smallish staff right now to canvas Texas in Houston, Dallas, SanTone than flying all over the country. We'll be hearing more coming up too I would bet.

When any of these young men post things about receiving other offers after committing then we should worry. I hope Grant becomes a great Buff but our staff is going to have to work hard to keep many of these guys until signing day.

Is that weird? I honestly don't know. I always kind of felt that they did it for all their offers so they look humble and appreciative of their opportunities.

The UT program is an ongoing soap opera that should have a slot on the Hallmark Channel. I hope that Grant stays with us - it's the best decision.

Keep you filthy paws off him you damn dirty ape!!
Assume you meant animal.

Had a feature of Polley on Rivals talking about recruiting. How do we feel since he got his Texas offer?

If we keep him, and I think in the end we do, that Texas offer is good for us.

Gives us an example of a kid from Texas who made the better choice to come to Colorado despite the Texas offer. Not a huge thing but something that can be used to at least get or keep the attention of some Texas kids in the future.
