Still not much out there on him, but here are a few newspaper articles (here, here). Has a life goal of playing for the squaks though.

My dad was a pastor in Pine Bluffs. That is a very small town. I think Subway was the only restaurant in the city limits when he lived there.

I guess there wasn't any fear when it came to offering this kid. We just might loathe him if chooses another school though.

Well I tried. Sorry to disappoint you. I'll retire and leave the pun game to the professionals.

Right. Skid basically steals your pun.

Will be nice to see how this recruit develops. So how does the AAU game work for him? Does he just spend his summers in a larger city?

They've been on him for a while - I created a profile for him a while back, but I think it was taken down because the offer wasnt official.

Add new mexico to his offer list:

"Steal" is such a harsh word. I like to think of it as an assist and an alley oop.

I hope that this young man's basketball career takes off as if from a cannon and explodes. (Figuratively, of course)

In all seriousness, a 6'10" high school sophomore is impressive. If he has any ball handling skills at all, he'd be a load in the middle. Figure that 225 lbs will get up to at least 250 by the time he hits campus. I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up with a lot of offers. Hopefully, we're on him in a big way.

Ben Mills was 6'9" his sophomore year - link.

More of a Dufault than a Mills. Doesn't have Austin's level of ball skills yet, but he's a stretch 4 who can shoot and handle a little bit. Dad was a coach and I think it shows with his court awareness.
