Looks like Coach Els and Corey Hall recruiting. Film surprised me. This kid was a find.

Technique definitely seems to be sound. Looks like he follows his reads and rarely guesses. Good tackler and plays with an edge. Obviously, tough to judge speed, or propensity to be exposed sideline to sideline from highlights alone, though. Looks like a good prospect to be the first P5 offer for, as I could see him garnering plenty more P12 interest this season.

What I liked about the vids was how he moved laterally along the LOS, head up, and then got through the chaos to make a play.

If he can add good weight he would be a steal as an MLB in the 3/4.

Consistent with the recruiting strategy this staff has been using in recent years. Already a good football player but a guy with a very high upside. Athletic enough turn into an every down LB at the P5 level. Like it.
