Huge blow for Utah.
Could be but if Jayden Daniels commits they will be fine.

Tuttle leaving may actually make a Daniels commit more likely and he seems to be a better fit for what Utah likes to do.

You really trying to spin the highest rated QB recruit in program history leaving after 2 months as a good thing for them?

No, still a big hit but getting Daniels who is a solid 4* would not be a bad result for them. It is very possible that Tuttle leaving could make Daniels more likely to commit.

I'm sure they would have preferred to have them both and losing Tuttle is a bad look but in the long run it wouldn't surprise me if Daniels isn't a better QB for them than Tuttle would have been because he is a much better runner.

The real issue comes if Daniels ends up going someplace else and they are left scrambling to find a QB.
