I can't think of too many places that are more polar opposites than Kahului and Lawrence.
 
I'm always suspicious when I see a school like KU, with a piss poor football program in a crappy part of the country, start pulling in major recruits. You don't go from classes in the 80's to classes in the 10's with a "really good recruiter".

I'm not saying they're cheating. I'm just saying I will be anxiously awaiting the "we now take you to Lawrence Kansas" thread in a couple years.

Yup. It was a staff that was light on experience, but oozing with charisma. We'll see how it works out. My hunch is it will work better than the Charlie Weis years which were basically the exact opposite.

This. Cuz you know, when Baylor suddenly got really good they were totally "doing it the right way".
