I'm very intrigued. Looks like a safety to me, but I think you give him a look at CB first and see if he's got the hip flexibility for it.

I do like his WR highlights pretty well, too. Maybe a guy who could return punts.

Baseball offer from SJSU, which likely means he's got excellent hand-eye coordination. Also likely means he hasn't run track and has some upside for increasing his speed.

So you're saying the bay area leagues are really good or you're saying DLS is?
You know the latter and I’d say that that specific Bay Area league is pretty damn good (better than any league in CO, but obviously not as good as the top leagues in So Cal or Texas).

So you weren't arguing with anything I said, even though it seemed like it!
The competition level on his highlight tapes is suspect. Across the board, the other 11 guys (in total) are not anywhere close to SoCal or Texas, with perhaps the exception of highlights against one team.

Agree to disagree - not doing this in a recruit’s thread. I think the kid’s legit and his opposition is as well. I’ll leave it at that.

To be clear, I think the kid very well could be legit. My comment was simply that this NorCal kids tapes are hard to judge because of competition being all over the map. With that said, we've done very well in Norcal (see Witherspoon, Awuzie, et. al).

MM has a history of finding NorCal kids who can play. He also has a history of coaching NorCal kids into the NFL.

This kid looks like an athlete and the service academy offers give an indication that he is solid in the classroom.

Oregon offer coming soon? They know that MM finds DBs.

I also see the likeness to Kenneth Olugbode, one of my favorite buffs over the last decade.
He is definitely being considered as a Jack ILB. He seems to have the frame to add another 20 lbs.

If decides he is willing to play LB and put the weight on that would be needed he seems like he'd be a great athlete at that position.
