"Big Salsa" trains at Six Zero. Adams, Chev and Hughes (GA for OL) are recruiting.

"I have just been thinking a lot recently about wanting to stay close to home so that family can be close to me. That was the biggest factor in my decision," Johnson said of his commitment to the Buffaloes. "I also liked the coaching staff up at CU. They are going to do great things, so I want to be part of that. (Head) coach (Mike) MacIntyre visited me two weeks ago and Coach Adams came down a week ago. Their interest in me really stuck out.

"And while training with Matt (McChesney at Six Zero Strength), I was always around the Buff culture. And having (former Highlands Ranch teammate) Ray (Robinson) and (former Six Zero Strength training partner) Heston Paige up there at CU, that also kind of led me to this decision."
