I think every coach does the same thing in recruiting. They have their go to group that they go to at the end of the signing period that are "underrecruited." The difference I hope we are dealing with this time is those hidden gems are coming from a more football rich/athlete rich environment, where it actually is more likely to be overlooked, based on the numbers around them. I have said it many times before that the south/southeast has such an abundance of talent (regardless of whether it is bc of population or whatever, fact of the matter is there is a ton of talent here). So if we are reaching a bit for the last few guys, I would rather reach in a more talented part of the country. Here is to a strong finish with a 25 man class that includes a few never heard ofs that are all conference caliber players in a few years!!

Probably still a long shot, but that was my thought all along. That’s two CBs who have cancelled visits/committed elsewhere coinciding with news that “CUs board changed” and Elam visiting. We’ll see

CU’s board changed? Out of the loop...
