I am calling ICC right now!

Jokes aside, he would be what, the 3rd JC ILB? Something tells me there will be some substantial differences on D next year.

Isn't Ham considered undersized?

Ham is short but I wouldn't call him undersized. 6'1" 220 while still in high school is pretty solid, add another 10 lbs with S&C and he is 230. Also not sure Ham ends up inside. As a comparison they listed Addison Gillam at 230 but I saw him and believe that most of the time he was playing at below 220. Also KO was listed at 220 and I think that was a stretch.

Montgomery though has the size to be a classic thumper from the ILB position though, big and strong enough to fight off guards and manage the middle of the field.

Looks like MT wants a defense that doesn't get pushed around.

Roquan Smith is 6’1” and 236 lbs. He was decent in playing HCMT’s scheme.

Big boy, good athleticism. Looses his power in tackling too often due to leaving his feet, but that is correctable.

Free article.

"Some of the other schools are looking at me for inside linebacker but Colorado offered me for outside linebacker," he said. "(Colorado head) coach (Mel) Tucker is my guy. He emphasized how he loved my speed on the edge and my ability, with my quick hands of getting around the tackle, to get to the quarterback."

Just in the picture of this guy he looks like a beast. If he truly runs a 4.58 forty at that size, man, that’s impressive.
