From what ESPN reported, he used a teammates ID card to get approximately $700 from the teammate's account. Sims claims that there was an agreement for the teammate to lend him the money, and the teammate gave him the ID card to that end. Obviously the teammate did not co-sign that version of the story.
not unless he changes his last name to walker
He has a bit too much speed to fit our system.
Well, there is a Mike Sims-Walker in the NFL right now. Maybe they could be brothers....
You would think that if he had a brother in the NFL he wouldn't be doing stupid things like this for $700, on the other hand having a brother in the NFL doesn't protect you from stupid (see the next D1 school north of Boulder for example.)
well ... P Rich was given a second chance
Or his first name to Billy.
Kid's had it tough. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herschel_Sims
If Embree wanted to give him a shot, I'd be ok with it. I expect, though, that he'll end up at a lower division, play for 2 years, and go into the draft.
Would love to grab him.
Can we have that db who ran Sims down from behind (@ 1:15 mark) ?
Already an oregon commit...
He's going to Baylor
Why is this a surprise. He won't need to steal $700, won't have to go to class either. Perfect set-up.
Gundy allowed him to transfer to Baylor?

Charged with 2 counts of 2nd-degree forgery. per ESPN "College Football Live"
Geez, that's a fort fun level offense. Maybe this guy isn't D1 quality after all.
here is an article from stoolwater:
