2011 Spring Football Events

I just read something about ASU's spring game and they said there were 125 recruits for junior day. As I read it we have 18 right now. I know the list is incomplete right now and I am not bashing all the hard work Nick is putting in on the list. Does anyone have a ballpark of the number of Junior Day attendees? Is 125 alot? Do we regularly get numbers like that? Just curious for comparison sake.

USC had over 100 for their main junior day. Of course, it is much easier for them to get that many to come since they can draw players from all over So Cal. The last staff even had a junior day during spring practices where they brought in dozens (50+) of juniors. I am not a fan of that strategy because you do not want anyone to get lost in the crowd. My guess is we'll have around 30 players at Junior Day that we have serious interest in, which should give us a chance for the coaching staff to make some connections. I prefer the bigger groups of players to come for the summer camps.

Get a massage table, position a bucket, and practice makes perfect. After a while, you'll sleep through...
 
Embree has decided to open practices for today. 4-6 pm on the lower field.

Starting to look like a great group for Junior Day/ Spring Game. I need to add in Travis Wilson (CA quarterback), Cyler Miles (CO quarterback) and Tyler Henington (CO defensive tackle and verbal commit).

Gonna be a great day for the Buffs!

Lots of the visitors and their families are already in town getting the tour and pitch from Embree and the boys.

This is what a real Junior Day is supposed to look like. Love it. Hopefully we can get a couple players to pull the trigger.
