* - Pac-12 Conference Game
From Howell's chat:
Did anyone ever figure out if Kenan ended up redshirting and keeping eligibility for that year so he could come here as a RS sophomore?
This is who was in the las Vegas classic last year.
Boise State Broncos (MW)
Houston Cougars (American)
Loyola of Chicago Ramblers (MVC)
Texas Tech Red Raiders (Big 12)
Abilene Christian Wildcats (Southland)
Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions (SWAC)
South Carolina State Bulldogs (MEAC)
Southern Utah Thunderbirds (Big Sky)
We are a host school. The other three host schools are Kent State, SMU, and Penn State. (bloggingthebracket.com)
SMU well be a nice rpi boost. Kent state finished 94 this year and Penn State was 108.
We finished at 117 in case anyone is wondering
Abilene Christian is a D1 school?!?!?! I might have to re-think a post I made in a different thread.
I was just at a tour for season tickets for football and basketball and the guy told me that they recently just got a deal with byu and they're coming to The CEC this year
SCOOP and rep
Solid OOC opponent. Like that add a lot.
So we have the Cyclones and now BYU. Tad better have the boys ready to go!
That's a fantastic home date.
So far it's a much more interesting non-con than last season
Co-worker of mine (some of you met him at the Horse before the Auburn game last year) is an Auburn grad. And Auburn hosts Georgia that Saturday before. I may have to make a trip of this.
My sis lives in Atlanta and i thought that you had a great plan that i was going to copy, but then i remembered that i have kids so it is not happening for me
Specific dates for each game have not been set at this point, because details for television spots have not yet been determined.
Here is a look at Colorado's 2015-16 Pac-12 schedule. The games listed could be scheduled at any time during the weeks assigned, and the order of opponents in a given week could be flipped.
Dec. 30-Jan. 3: at California, at Stanford
Jan. 6-10: Utah
Jan. 13-17: Oregon, Oregon State
Jan. 20-24: at Washington, at Washington State
Jan. 27-31: California, Stanford
Feb. 3-7: at Oregon, at Oregon State
Feb. 10-14: Washington, Washington State
Feb. 17-21: at UCLA, at USC
Feb. 25-27: Arizona, Arizona State
March 2-5: at Utah
End of the season is gonna be roouuuuggggghhhhh
Man we just can not catch a break on the final games of the regular season.
Love the BYU visit. Hope we learn to guard the perimeter or else some usual BYU player named something like "Trip" will hit 12 threes.
Home game against Utah is going to be during Winter Break. I hate that.
I suppose this could be worse. We usually get the last 3 or so games on the road, this year it's just 1. perhaps next year they'll give us 1 at home to close.
No desert trip, which is nice.
and as far as having utah over break, at least it's not ucla like it usually is.
So no desert trip and USC and UCLA don't come here. Is that correct?
Yes lose the killer game in Arizona, but lose the easier road game at U$C.
We haven't had any luck playing at ASU either.
It's actually a great schedule in terms of difficulty. It sucks in terms of our rivalries developing against the South teams.
Just noticed a real schedule conflict. Bball vs. Cyclones is the same night football plays USC under the lights on ESPN. WTF.
One more to add-but its not a huge newsbreaker.....Northern Colorado will be coming in 11/29
Las Vegas Classic Field
The final rounds of the event will be held 12/22-12/23 at the Orleans Arena
