Just wanted to add topdrawersoccer.com (a partly-paid subscription site that seems to be a main resource for boy's/ men's and girl's/ women's soccer from youth to high school to club to college) has a few things (none of these three items require subscription) related to the Buffs:

1) They published a short (paragraph per team) preview of the Pac 12 this season ( http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/coll...onference-preview:-pac-12-women-2015_aid36950 ). What they say about the Buffs (records noted are from last year and NOT predicted finish for this year)-

Colorado (14-7-1, 6-4-1)

Colorado finished third in the Pac-12 in 2014. It was another surprising year of success for head coach Danny Sanchez and his program. However, the surprise has worn off a bit and now it’s an expectation that this team will be in the mix in the conference and the NCAA Tournament. Colorado has a number of holes to fill for this season. Only five starters are back with the defense taking the majority of the blow as three starters are gone from a team that only gave up 17 goals last season. Look for Danica Evans, who transferred away from Portland to play close to home, to play a big role offensively alongside Brie Hooks.

2) They also did a pre-season Top 100 ranking of all returning (non-freshmen) individual college players in the U.S., and Buff forward Brie Hooks was ranked #53 nationally. (Full list at http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/coll...genderId=f&periodId=32&seasonId=2015&nopage=2 .)

Congrats to her for the recognition!

3) Topdrawersoccer soccer also does its own Top 25 ranking. VERY Similar to what the already covered Coaches (NSCAA) Poll is guessing, the Buffs are the 3rd of 5 schools topdrawersoccer has right outside the Top 25 in its "Others considered" part of the pre-season poll, which can be seen in total at http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/college-soccer-national-rankings/women . Overall, looks like topdrawersoccer likes the Pac 12 a little more than the coaches, as they have 2 more schools (USC and Washington) in the Top 25, although the coaches did have those teams
