Yeah. I was gonna say that I think he's got a style that has gotten a lot out of teams that didn't have any frontline NBA talent. I like him a lot as a coach and his continuation of Nolan's "40 minutes of hell". When he really impressed me was back in the UAB days when he gave Cal's Memphis teams fits.
 
I think Carolina may beat Arkansas pretty easily. At the very least, the Holes have to be liking their chances. I have zero respect for any SEC school outside of Kentucky.
 
Looking at tomorrow's games:

NMSU, Belmont and NDSU strike me as pretty strong 15 seeds by the usual standards. Belmont can launch the 3 which is UVA's weakness on D...and one of their sharpshooters is a UVA transfer. NMSU is a Big Dance regular.

Northern Iowa doesn't seem like a horrible matchup for Wyoming. Sometimes Wyo simply has those games where they just straight stink, but if they're on their game they can have a chance against UNI in the final minutes.

Buffalo over WVU has been a flavor of the week pick since the selection. Big XII being a dumpster fire thus far (no pun intended) has only fueled this more.

Maryland was done no favors in their draw against a 28-4 Valpo side in Columbus.

Neither was Louisville having to go cross country to face UC Irvine.

Iowa and VCU were/are such weak 7 seeds compared to Michigan State and Wichita State. Kansas and Virginia were done no favors in avoiding early exits.
 
Donnie Boyce shoutout in the WVA game. I looked him up and I guess he just got fired as head coach at his Alma Mater. Sounds like it was a bad deal for him. Unfortunate circumstance involving a student. Nothing bad, tho.
 
THAT was a massive **** up. What makes it worse, UVA gets a foul that should have never been.

How in the **** could all 3 miss that? Inexcusable. They can't ref another game in this tournament. That's a **** up you just cannot have.
