Got a minicamp invite at least, credit to Embree seemingly having a solid influence at the 49ers and giving guys opportunities.
I am shocked to hear he is a singer
Hidden musical talent, and at his size it's hard to hide anything.
My thought was it's better to be singed than actually burned.

SF had one of the better drafts imho. Great job by Lynch and crew.
Started out strong taking the Bears to the cleaners and built from there.

When Buffs play pro in Dallas, that helps DFW recruiting, right?
Gurode played in the All Star game for multiple years; didn't seem to help. Jeffcoat is a high profile player from the Cowboy's championship era; didn't seem to help. Chieverini came on board last year, this helped.
I would argue every bit helps, but to paraphrase your thoughts: you still need to be a good recruiter even if other positive factors are in play.

Idk man, somebody might. I'd guess it didn't hurt.
Embree appears to be inviting anyone he recruited to training camp. I hope some of them stick!

Just looked at the 49ers coaching staff and along with Jon
looks like in addition to Jon Embree, Taylor Embree and T.C. McCartney are on the coaching staff as well. This team is stacked with Buffalo blood.
Boulder and Santa Clara gonna need a hyperloop.
Hell, it's cool those guys are getting a shot. Great for them.

Embree really is a good guy, bummer it didn't work out for him as coach here at CU but glad he is giving some of the kids he recruited to CU a chance in the NFL.

Embree's parting from CU was very ugly but I think a part of that was to him it wasn't just a job, it was his dream, he was much more emotionally invested than most coaches ever are.
It does look like he is being loyal to his old recruits but it also looks like he still has love in his heart for CU.
I would hope that they are already and will continue in the future to rebuild the relationship between JE and CU.
