Missed that CU fall sport media day is today.

Soccer press conference going on now. (Hopefully/ assume it will be archived so it can be viewed in full later.)

Edit- direct Periscope link if people have trouble with the tweet itself - https://www.pscp.tv/w/1DXGyYoAQvLGM
(The presser is over, but does still look to be available via the link right above.)

Why doesn't CU get it?

Football drives fan interest and media coverage.

Instead of a day where they tolerate the fans a lot of schools would have packaged an open football practice including some coach and player access with media access (and fans being able to view) the other fall sports.

Actually act like the fans matter a little bit and take advantage of interest in football to generate interest in other sports.

@MtnBuff has a point...I think the Only sports need their own media day. I'm stepping it up with the other sports but my mind would be on football and so would the media which would rob the Oly athletes.

Why not do both.

Have a media day specifically for the other sports but also use football fan days (open scrimmage days) to promote those sports to the fans.
