2020 Coaching Carousel

Two more local changes-and that basically ends an abbreviated carousel-UNC backfilled Jeff Linder with Steve Smiley. Air Force (in what was a no-brainer) brought back Joe Scott. Both solid moves given the situation, but I like AFAs a lot more-Scott figured out a way to win there.

Not shocking.

Pun aside - it's a tiny bit surprising. When this initially happened, I thought he was done. But the WSU big boosters (outside of Koch) really dug in there to keep him. I'm guessing that Koch either didn't care or didn't want to keep him and that's why he's now leaving.

This **** disgusts me. Sure, Marshall doesn't want to be let go, and he will make the argument that he is not abusive or has acted as such blabhlahblah. If the majority of us acted in the way he's been accused of, we would be fired too. We're not getting a nice compensation package, nor should we. College coaches in football and bball - they get millions of dollars for failing at their jobs. I know this exists for CEOs and other high ranking jobs, but those packages shouldn't exist either. ****......
