It’s been interesting to see who has announced their entrance into the portal so far. Guys like McCown and Penry seem like a “Yup, the new coach is locked in, and ready to bring in his players and system immediately…no evaluations”. Someone like Bell was overdue to go IMO. A good amount of excitement, but never seemed to deliver in game.
After watching the last half of the season, (post-Duh’rell) kids respond to excitement and personality on the sideline. It’s just sad that they faced the El Capitan off the schedule after FHCKD was bounced out. The buzz of the last two weeks or so is going to make for pure entertainment from now through to kickoff for the ‘23 season!
