2026 MBB Recruit Profile Index

A league in Israel is no joke. Grown men league. Rohn said it's Big 12 level if not higher because a lot of high level big 12 players end up there if they don't make it in the league andage. Made the U20 team Mani didn't and was leading scorer on the team over Omer Mayer who was a national recruit that signed with Purdue roster. Was the 3rd leading scorer in the whole tournament that had a lot of good college players in it. Looks like they went 5-2 in the tournament and lost in quarterfinals . Like the toughness and old school vibes too. Think this is a really good late add actually!

Like his first step, how he can put the ball down for a couple dribbles and shooting stroke shows potential and then just seems like a garbage can around the rim.
Of the Tad Ball teams we've had here, this one might be the Tadiest. We'll have to see how that plays out.

Just a lot of unknowns until we hit the season due to how many new players and international players on this team! I like this roster a lot more than last years though and feel like we will have a few pleasant surprises from the group. Curious to see who redshirts (Tad hasn’t lost a redshirt in the portal that I can think of) but may also indicate who needs more seasoning and who we expect to contribute. Wouldn’t be shocked if we had 2-3 redshirt.

Giving me serious Bird vibes movement and stroke wise…yes of course, nowhere near…but vibe wise…and as someone said, that old Y pick-up game dude…so potential outcome tree has a lot of branches, but I have hope…he’s a Buff and that’s the best start in my heart

Per the below, the Buffs have offered Anthony (Ant) Brown, a 6'1" PG who plays with the Team Durant club program and Archbishop Carroll HS in Washington DC. (Per 247, looks like he has around 21 offers (not including CU).)

Yes, Verbal Commits listing CU offer on 8/22 also! Seems 8/1 he listed 10 final schools, 7 has visits scheduled w/ 7 of those. But just went from top-140 in county to top-100 in country (on 247 Sports) after great summer; so w/ his late recruiting explosion- maybe CU still has outside shot?

Feels like most of CU's earlier recruits are not still considering CU (according to X-Twitter Universe Tea-leaves), except maybe Dioum & Ariza? Probably still need couple Fs to eventually replace Rancik & Dak (hopefully not sooner than later?) by '26 or '27?

1) @AliouDioum05 - not blowing up, still Top-150, CU didn't make his final-6 two weeks ago? He may have to wait 'til Spring w/ Portal Era?

2) Chidi Nwigwe @iamchidinwigwe -blowing up recently, but Coach Grier has had contact for awhile. Top-50, Love 6'7s O-game & D-beast!

3) @_theetajhariza - only home-run that feels like CU still has shot with?, injury kept him out this summer, Top-10, likes Tad putting him @Pt
(@TobiasBrinkley also had injury this summer, tall PtG also, already had CU visit, but seems like SW-area schools are on him too heavy?).

4) Sam Fleming @jiggy_sammm - Mass. kid a great Tad-guy: Elite IQ & Passing, strong 6'7 combo F, Top-150, seems destined as Top-75?

5) Kuol Kuol @KuolAlor25 - Georgia kid probably going to blow-up with transfer to elite Florida HS, Top-150 destined for Top-125 range?

6) Oesoemana Sacko @big_osacko - Nate Tomlinson has had contact w/ NY kid, 6'8 w/ 7+ wing, no ranking yet, but seems like Top-150?

7) Erving @juju_erv - 1 of best '25 Fs to not sign with team yet, stretch 6'9 Combo F has really added rim protection/ D/ interior play. Had 3pt.

8) @AbdouToure36 - only W besides Ariza & Nwigwe, Rohn was following long-term, but CU didn't make his final-7 last week, but still shot?

9) Kade Speckman- colorado kid only ranked in 300 range, but could be possibility with the stretchability that his outside shot brings?

10) @MichaelDMasini - 6'10 Stretch PF from Washington not ranked, but CU has had some long-term contact with him also. Tough Rbder.
(CU had some long-term contact with Top-150, strong PF Justine Caldwell, before he committed to Georgetown last week: @JustinC2026)

11) Mo Ndao - unranked 6'5 texas wing w/ plus length, could be good 2-way option at 3 spot?

12) Jeremiah Hammond - Pt G seems like first option for '26 guard, if CU loses any guards after this year?

-Yea, when Placide bros were in Utah, then Kansas' Sunrise Christian, seemed like locations helped Tad & Co stay in consideration. But both of them just blowing-up too much. And both listing mostly SW schools as their top choices now. Again, seems they may choose different schools?

-Chapparal's Luke Howery & Christian Williams visited CU for Saturday's football game:
-Chaparral w/ Kristopher Coleman also; so all 3 of these '27 guards easier for CU to stay in contact with? But I might put Colorado Spring's 6'6 '27 guard Cameron Waithe-Cunningham @Cam1cunningham ahead of them? Especially if CU loses Crawford or Mani? & Needs Wing help?

-But fact that CU has had interest in '26 Ant Brown, tells me Tad still going after elite PtGs? Guessing Brown's elite skills that may be biggest attraction for Tad are elite playmaking & point-of-attack defender? With recent improvement on O, not unlike Isaiah Johnson's late development of offensive game? But sounds like Brown's Top-10 are pretty solid?: (but more guys to wait until Spring transfers done?)

-Colorado w/ a few possible '27 in-state Forward-targets also? Aurora's Smoky Hills w/ Top-200 Basquez & Top-300 (both according to On3/Rivals) Belanger. Parker's Speckman maybe more similar games to recent CU-targets Fielder & Rice: stretch F w/ toughs & Rbding?

-TX Drive Nation's Xavier Roberson @XavierRoberso11 seems like a good under-rated W for CU's 2-Way needs also? '26 or move to '27?

-Eddie Smajic @smajic_eddie 6'6 3-Pt shooting W that may bring some of what Mani brings to end of bench? Injury kept him under the radar?

Did just want to bump this thread as the early bball signing period (for both genders) for the 2026/27 academic year/ season frosh class begins this Wednesday (11/12).

Note that, per https://www.ncsasports.org/recruiting/managing-recruiting-process/national-signing-day, basketball, like football***, still has 2 signing periods - an early one for which this signing cycle is from November 12-19, and a "regular period" that begins April 15th, 2026.
(***Just to avoid any potential confusion, football's early signing period begins later (December 3rd).)

(Note - I do plan on just copying and pasting this same message in the women's bball 2026 recruiting thread.)
