As far as I know he is on campus, enrolled, and on the team. I think Roster is somewhere around 80 schollies, probably closer to 90 with wo's. Adam or
@Buffnik will have a better answer on this. I think we have a couple (2-3) with pending injury waivers TBD, that could be adds. Maybe 1-2 with Juco stuff.
@Buffnik has kept up well on the transfers that signed and paperwork cleared. We might still have a couple out there, plus I'm not sure Peko is signed, or maybe WO?
ND offered Ezra Jan 8., so I think even if there is a question of eligibility, he might had a better case than some others. Last year with Pavia case #1, the NCAA granted a one-year blanket JUCO waiver, and they did not do this for the upcoming year. Even with Aguilar being recently denied by the TN state judge (he argued different grounds), that has no precedence in CO. Pavia's case #2 is still pending, and I saw somewhere his case is state law specific this time around.
I tend to believe that he is eligible until told otherwise. This was the announcement when he came back; so if the eligibility ? had to do with JUCO, then I think that bar is cleared. We need him.
Colorado football secured a major transfer portal win as former New Mexico State DL Ezra Christensen officially signed after receiving an NCAA waiver.
