I really like his highlights.

A lot of passes over the middle and between the hash marks. If we can pair a guy like this with a seam ripper TE it's going to be big trouble for opposing defenses.

It looks like he had a tight throwing motion. Not a lot of wasted wind up. Was throwing to spots well. Other than his scramble plays, it looked like he always went quickly to his first read, so it is tough to judge that, plus I don't know how good the competition is.

I like him. He's accurate, has a good arm. He's not a bad athlete either. I know zero about comp in WA, but he threw quite a few dimes in those clips. Only so much you can get from highlights, but he has some ability.

I don't know anything about comp level either, but his team plays in the highest class (4A - same as Sefo's HS), for whatever that's worth.

Seems to be some smoke on this recruitment. Or perhaps that’s just a smidgeon of confirmation bias.

FYI... Miller Moss just committed to USC. That could be an important domino for Millen. LSU has been recruiting Millen but they have yet to offer. They were heavily recruiting Moss and it's likely, now that they've missed out on Moss, they offer Millen in the near future.

This is correct. Four-star means mid-to-late round draft selection. There are 32 five-stars (first-rounders) on 247Sports when the class wraps up.
Thanks for that. I didn’t know that and it makes sense.

The kid has a strong arm. Will have to work on his mechanics, but solid prospect. I really don't care about 4 star or 3 star or 2 star. The rating system in high school should be scrapped or banned.

There are so many 2 star players playing in the NFL right now. I am more interested in recruiting good kids that have a good work ethic in high school. Players that want to learn, players that are coach able. Players with a high ceiling that can be developed.

We’ve had lots of those types over the last 10 years
