Coaches should be putting on the full court press here.

Not only did Texas Tech fire its coach, but the OC (Sonny Cumbie) took the LA Tech job so it will be a different offense than he committed to.

On this note, I'd be very cool with hiring Stever Farmer to CU (current TTU OL Coach who went there with HC Matt Wells from Utah State).

…and for the most part it doesn’t matter.
Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State and Stanford have all pulled an OL from Colorado this cycle in addition to Weatherby committed to TTU. CU needs to start winning most of these recruiting battles.

Taking 3-4 CO prep linemen every recruiting class is a recipe for a really bad OL
If we can get the right 3-4 each year we will be fine, taking 3-4 leftovers and we will be in trouble.

What we can't do is have these other schools come in and take their choices and we take the players they didn't think were good enough to play for them.

We aren't going to win all of these battles or even close but we need to start winning some of them. Get 1-2 each year but have them be top guys and we will be much better.

Doesn’t matter who gets them if they ride pine all their career. My thinking is that the CO prep coaching must be so bad that the players are so far behind in development when they hit college they cannot catch up.
