Overheard some students talking at a restaurant in Boulder, saying Kordell was on campus today. Didn’t hear details, but now I’m curious if there was a reason behind that particular photo.
Kordell and Prime are close.
We have seen the discussion about Prime maintaining the "traditions" of the program (despite the fact that most of those were borrowed from elsewhere and haven't been much honored over the past 20 years.)

I don't think he will come in and intentionally tear any of that stuff down but it seems that correctly he is more worried about the here and now.

Much more meaningful to a 20 year old player than some slogan on a wall is seeing somebody like Kordell in the training facility and being told "See that guy, he played X number of years in the league. When you see the highlights of the greatest comebacks in history on YouTube or Sportscenter he's the guy who launched the 70 yard pass that beat Michigan."

Having guys like Shannon Sharpe waking around even though he didn't go to CU means something to these kids, he's got what they dream of and being there he isn't a story, he's real.
