FSU’s greatest player raiding FSU as a coach seems fun.
Again one of those things we will never know but I wonder if Prime didn't put a push on for the FSU job in 2019 when they hired Norvell.

Prime's connections to the program run deep and if he got the impression that they didn't take him seriously I could see him putting an emphasis on showing them that they made a mistake.

To be fair, a P5 program that believes it’s a second tier blue blood hiring a former player, even one as great as Prime, as HC when the highest level of coach he had achieved at that point was HS OC would have never been accepted. Even CU fans wouldn’t have been too pumped had Prime been the hire in 2019 over Tucker.

I think FSU probably hires him this cycle had they been in the market.

You are correct and Norvell has turned out to be a very good hire for them bringing them back into prominence.

None of that though means that Prime has to think that it was the right choice if he wanted the job.
