Weird to think of the days when we’d have more than 85 scholarships awarded in different ways, knowing players would have to leave before fall camp, or some incoming commits might be asked to grey-shirt—and they would!

Looks like current Chargers DC - and recent national champion DC for the Michigan Wolverines - Jesse Minter, was his primary recruiter to Vanderbilt. Add in his position coach at Miami who left for the NFL and it’s safe to say very talented people see greatness in Riley.

Have to think DC/safeties coach Livingston played a big role in his recruitment here.
