I think you’re mistaken. He was a high 3* in the 2021 class. He was the 559th rated player and 36th rated ATH coming out.

I believe he was saying he was top 100 in the state of Florida, not nationally. He was 76 in FL.

That's fair, but he was also in the 2021 class, not the 2024 class. Looks like he Redshirted in 2021 and played very sparingly at two different stops the last three years.

As others have said, he's a veteran, RB4 insurance policy that will provide a decent look for the defense on the scout team.

FWIW, last off season he transferred from Miss St to Coastal Carolina and was rated much higher.

The DNVR guys were talking yesterday about his abilities as a pass blocker so that could be what CU has in mind.
