Things didn't go as planned for Colorado basketball guard Spencer Dinwiddie and his USA teammates at the World University Games in Kazan, Russia. Dinwiddie had a solid all-around game today (five points, eight assists and four rebounds), but the U.S. fell 94-85 to Canada in its final preliminary-round game of the tournament.

Too bad. I do think the experience for Spencer is a tremendous positive for CU. I'm already excited for the upcoming season.
