Make sure to watch the video also
I watched it this morning and it was very interesting. JoePa is a hell of a man but his time has come to hand over the reins of PSU. He cannot control his team the least bit. Scirotto called a player to go fight some students and all of a sudden a quarter of the team shows up ready to fight? "we knew we were going there to beat people up" and "we had a reputation to uphold". How many times did JoePa say he doesn't know as an answer to his questions? He should know everything his players are doing. He even cancelled the cleaning after home games because they were doing well.
There's an article that goes with it, I'd find the link but I'm lazy... they still manage to get a dig on CU in there.
Wasn't Joe involved in a road rage incident last year?
He can drive?
I wrote in about this a couple of weeks ago.
In one year! (2003) Penn St. had 21 players arrested for various charges.
This year Alabama has had 10 or 11 players arrested since 1/1/08, followed by Georgia 9. And we all remember what Miami was doing in the 90's.
Must be something in the water down south this year, because they havn't even played a down yet!
What this indicates to me is that more and more schools are opting to take the riskier kids because the need to win NOW is higher than it's ever been. Fans don't seem to care about the rest, just that the teams win. And that's sad.
how is that sad? college football is entertainment, of course all they care about is if their teams win.
This post is sad. You should know why it is sad that schools allow felons on their football teams.
I don´t think it´s sad some schools allow convicted felons on their teams, everyone can **** up and everyone deserves a second chance, but the sheer amount of felons and off-field incidents some teams have is worrying.
If you **** up, you pay the price ... if you learn your lesson from that, that´s fine with me.
Its sad becuase they are young and the ammount of f's ups is out of control. Dont forget they are going to school to get an education first, football second.
not all of them
