The NJ kids were reported to have had a GREAT time and loved the mountain setting and the love they were shown by the fans and coaching staff. Looks like we may be getting all three at CU if all holds. That's about all I've heard so far for the 2012 recruits.
The New Jersey kids seem to have had a good time. Think we will be in the mix to get official visits from both Wright and Shumate in the fall.
Also sounds like in-state kids had a great time for the most part. Would not be surprised to hear some good news in the coming weeks on that front.
A big bunch of them drove past sackygate in golf carts. We were hoping our enthusiasm might rub off on them a little bit. All of the hot girls out tanning on Farrand Beach probably didn't hurt either...
Hey! Something i remember! Cool!
It almost seems as if you are slowly being de-briefed after a big mission
I just got official confirmation directly from a recruit that in fact farrand beach was indeed a hit! Good comments regarding the campus appearance overall.
Also the California kids from Don Boso High School seemed to be enjoying their visit as well.
B Lock spent a while talking with several recruits and seemed to be getting along very well.
Coach Mac's speech impressed them and comments were made that he impressed as well.
Some were cold as the game concluded though.
I don't know of any offers extended or commits recieved though.
I wanted to run through a ****ing wall after hearing Coach Mac speak earlier in the day. Wow.
We should get at least one this year, possibly both and Alquadin Muhammed is still up in the air as he's only a sophomore.
Mac is a great speaker and motivator.
I think he learned a few pointers working for this guy
yeah any commits?
Other than Logan Gray, nope. Most are waiting to take an OV before committing.
It is only Monday give it a few days.
Is that what they told you?
its the creatine.
It's what I've been reading on rivals. Sounds like the NJ trio are ours to lose though.
Actually, several of the players that visited this weekend will decide during the summer, including most of the in-state players.
I'm hoping the prep athletes are picturing themselves slowly being de-briefed by the ladies of Farrand Beach. Any who take their official during the Cal game should verbal on the spot.
Trio? I thought we only hosted 2 2012 NJ guys? 2 2012 2 2013 1 2014?
Yeah we only had 2 2012 guys but all 3 loved Boulder and are high on CU with Yuri Wright being the highest.
I'm failing to understand where the 3 is coming from. Was there 5 NJ guys in total there? Of those, 3 liked it?
Peppers had a track meet he needed to run in if he wanted to qualify for states. He cancelled at the last minute. Lots of time there, though.
That's pretty wishful thinking saying we're the team to beat for the NJ boys. You have to remember the kids did say they liked the trip but then you have donmac pimping it even more... inflating their interest level to Buff fans
And the fact that they haven't been on a single official visit yet. These could be guys that fall in love with every place they go (hell, they are all better then NJ --- no offense Chip). The early signs are good, but I would think that we are far from being able to say that they are ours to loose.
I think once one commits... it will be the domino effect (especially re the in-state OL). They know we only have so many spots and will fight to get one... at least that's my hope
