Colorado's took its first significant swing in Pac-12 action, raiding Arizona's staff for two assistant coaches.

Co-defensive coordinator Greg Brown and defensive tackles coach Mike Tuiasosopo are headed to Boulder to join new head coach**Jon Embree's staff. The Arizona Daily Star*reported neither is expected to stick around for the Valero Alamo Bowl against Oklahoma State.

Brown, a secondary specialist,*was hired away from Colorado last year by Mike Stoops as co-coordinator with Tim Kish. Tuiasosopo was a member of Stoops' original staff in 2004.

More on what Embree is doing to get things together at Colorado here.

Hey! Looks like Greg Brown as DC is finally a DONE DEAL! WOOHOO!

I know some here don't like the hire (I do for the record), but bigger than that, seeing this gives me confidence the rest of the projected staff is on the way and they hit the recruiting trail HARD!

This staff might be one of the strongest recruiting staffs in the country, if this all works out.
