Arizona Wildcats at Colorado Buffaloes - GAME THREAD

Great job by a bunch of seniors, esp Hansen, Speedy, Clemons, and Adkins on offense and a mix of good individual plays on D. Something tells me AZ can sell early PT to DTs...

And what a pop by Major in the first half - best hit I've seen all year!
 
Clemons has been a lifesaver since p-rich is still having troubles. Embree needs to tell the players every game is senior day.

Speedy was great.

The seniors showed what senior day was all about, seemed like seniors were in on every play. As critical as we all have been, these guys took their day, wasnt given to them. Major props.
 
Both teams put on a special teams clinic today. If I ever see a rugby kick again I'll, umm, do something bad.

The crosswind was still pretty strong for the other two and Embree wanted to keep the ball out of the air as much as possible on punts. I'm not a fan of rugby punts normally but I liked them today, they just need to be executed better.

Bull****. It's a stupid play. Trying to kick a ball on the run is stupid. Way too much can go wrong. If you kick a good spiral, even into the wind you can get decent distance. He should have been able to hit it 30 yards, minimum today with no return.

SIAP...

good win and definitely a brick game.

seniors took charge of the game and made an impact on the outcome.

finally got our first pac12 win.

preserved the streak of no shutouts in a season at folsom.

beat the spread by a large margin.

takes us into the game against slick rick with some momentum, just what we need to break the away game losing streak. and wouldn't it be cool if we could do that against slick rick? watch him wallow in defeat against one of the three teams he has taken down in his illustrious head coaching career?

i'm with you on this. my preferred strategy over the rugby kick is to go for it on fourth down...

What about if there's a cross wind like there was today? Rugby punts are good for that.
