Great article about Rush, Larry Scott and the Pac-12 officiating scandal, Goose. I think you nailed it on the head that Scott is more of a visionary and a big-picture guy. If you want somebody to create your conference network from scratch, expand your conference membership and work on raising your profile, Scott's your guy. If you want somebody to react to something like this Rush scandal, he isn't the guy. He would much rather protect the brand by making this disappear than to ensure the best quality of competition by fixing the problem.
