we will see, i guess.
For the conference's sake, I want Mizzou to win and go to the MNC game.
OU will roll them.
Meh. Screw Mizzou. I'll be rooting for OU. I really don't like Mizzou and I'm not sure why.
You want to see O$U in the MNC game? I sure as hell don't. Mizzou and WVU going back and forth on each other would be a great game.
I just really can't stand Mizzou. Like I said, I can't put my finger on it since they haven't been good in a long, long time. Maybe it's their fans who still talk about the 5th down, I dunno. But I don't like them and I won't root for them. I don't really care who is playing fot the NC if it's not the Buffs.
My main reason to hate them is Chase Daniel. Although my hate is somewhat lessened by Tuff Tiger.
I did not want that at first, but now I do want to see that. Ohio State would get rolled by WVU and the Big 10 could be further exposed for what they really are-a bunch of slow, overrated teams.
Fair enough. I feel the same way about the Sooners except I can put my finger on it. Switzer, Stoops, arrogant fans, etc.
We saw that last year. What would you rather watch Texas vs USC in 2006 or OSU vs Florida in 2007?
Mizzou wins. They just have this "I won't be stopped" attitude about them right now and I think they are going to really expose OU as being overrated. JMHO.
I think the #1 ranking is the kiss of death for Mizzou although I really do not want Oklahoma to win.
But another emphatic loss will truly put the Big 10 in its place. I doubt we see another game like Texas vs. USC anytime soon. That was a once-in-a-decade type game.
Honestly, I don't care either way, I'm just not opposed to seeing OSU getting beaten badly like I once was.
If Mizzou is anywhere near as good as the 2005 UT team (they're not, IMO), they won't have a problem with OU.
I'm excited about this game. It's potentially a good Big 12 championship game. When was the last time this happened? When we played UT?
I mean, the north is bringing in a good team for once, and I know OU isn't going to overlook Mizzou like they did with KSU that one year.
Kinda like you said Nu would roll CU?
You better specify which CU-UT game you are talking about. Near as I can remember, the last CU-UT game was far from a 'good game'. For us anyway.
I honestly don't think OU is going to beat this Missery team twice this season. They are fast and they are aggressive! To me it comes down to the QB's. Both are very good and granted Bradford has had a good season for a freshman. However, Chase Daniel has the experience and the ability to beat you if your defense takes him for granted. I think we witnessed that last weekend against KU. I think KU was under the impression that Missery was beneath them in the rankings and KU was the only unbeaten team. Well we all know what happened there. I think OU may feel that they have the advantage in this game considering they beat Missery once already.
After some thought, (I initally picked Mizzou) As much as I dislike OU, Pinkel's overdue for his coaching meltdown this year. OU wins a close one.
I hope to watch the Sooner offense drive 99 1/2 yards for a TD in this game too...... :smile2:
OU was favored by 3. :smile2:
