Weird moment came when FC's group and us were tailgating and then, seemingly out of nowhere, 66 shows up. We hadn't planned it or anything, he just managed to park right next to us. I took it as an omen. I was wrong. As has been mentioned, it was hotter then hell down there. No breeze whatsoever. Damn. :wow: This was my first trip to Phoenix. It's a nice city. Easy to get around. Lots and lots of development in the area, which seems strange to me given the mortgage market collapse taking place right now. I hope they're able to sell all that new housing. The ASU fans were cordial and engaging. A far cry from the miscreants and felons we ran into in Miami. Except for the game itself, which was a total meltdown, the trip was enjoyable. Even the golf. CU did have a sizeable contingent at the game. I don't know what the numbers were, but there were three or four "pockets" of CU fans throughout the stadium. I'd put a guess at around 7,000.
