What will we miss about the Cyclones? What were the best games in the series? Which great games vs. Iowa State have you attended?

Series record: Colorado 48-15-1

My favorite game: 1991, Colorado won 17-14 in a snowy, freezing game. Coach Mac said after the game that it was the coldest game he could remember. Lamont Warren had a 74 yard TD in the 2nd to put CU up 10-7, but Iowa State took the lead back 14-10 before halftime. It took a 3rdQ TD pass from Hagan to put the Buffs up for good 17-14.

2002- Sealing the Big 12 North against them was pretty nice- wasn't a bad game either, if I remember correctly. Iowa State had a good team with Seneca Wallace at QB and I think they were ranked for at least part of that year. Thing that sucked about this game was Chris Brown getting hurt and ruining the Heisman hype he was getting, but Purify and Calhoun did a great job filling in for him.

2004- Pretty terrible game as a whole, but I think this was the day when we realized Crosby was a star. Had something like 5 field goals (Our only points of the game, I think) and his record 60 yarder.

As bad as the 2008 CU/ISU game was for 59 minutes, the goal line stand by the Buffs at the end was great.

07 is one of my least fave Dan Hawkins moments. ISU has yet to drive the field on your D, so you give them a short field right before halftime.......genius.
