Big weekend for high school football

ESPN will broadcast 10 games over the weekend, several which will showcase some of our top targets and committs. I'll post those games in case you guys want to catch a glimpse of these guys in action.

Saturday 3:30 p.m. ET (ESPN) – No. 25 Saguaro (Scottsdale, Ariz.) vs. No. 24 Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, Colo.)
Obviously we're all familiar with Valor and this is our first chance to see McCaffrey in action, but all Buffs' eyes will be on DT Noah Ellis. McCaffrey's backup is 2018 CU target Blake Stenstrom, but chances that he sees the field are probably slim.
Saguaro seems to have a lot of talent, although no CU targets that have interest in us. Interesting to note that they have 3 ASU commits (OG Corey Stephens, TE Jared Poplawski and TE Kyle Loelle) and their top prospect, S KJ Jarrell, also has interest in ASU.

Saturday 5 p.m. ET (ESPNU) – No. 9 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) vs. St. Xavier (Cincinnati, Ohio)
SJB has our newest DL target in DE Jacob Callier. They also feature one of the top OL in the country, OSU commit Wyatt Davis, and the top 2018 S prospect Jaiden Woodbey (not showing CU offer).

Saturday 6 p.m. ET (ESPN2) – No. 2 Grayson (Loganville, Ga.) vs. No. 4 IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.)
The first of two heavyweight bouts here. No CU targets at Grayson, but two players to note are DeAngelo Gibbs and Jamyest Williams, two ATH that shined at The Opening.
Of course we'll all be rooting for IMG and our boy Dante Sparaco. It will interesting to see where he plays and how much. Scout has him as the 4th ranked TE in FL, but two of the three above him are his teammates. Also, CU has offered '18 OG Curtis Dunlap Jr., but Scout is showing Low interest so far. Kid is a beast at 6'6 340 as a junior in HS.

Saturday 9 p.m. ET (ESPN2) – No. 3 Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nev.) vs. No. 5 Cedar Hill (Texas)
If you can only catch one game, this is probably the one to go for. Bishop Gorman has two of CUs top targets in S Bubba Bolden and CB Alex Perry, as well as top QB Tate Martell who teased us for a few weeks before committing to OSU. They also have two of our top '18 targets in TE Brevin Jordan and QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
On the other side, two CU targets will be playing for Cedar Hill. OLB Dimitri Moore, whose interest has cooled a bit according to Scout, and RB Kaegun Williams. Williams is intriguing because both Scout and 247 show him with Medium/Warm interest in CU, but there is very little chatter about him here on Allbuffs. Sadly, we won't get to see WR Jaylon Jackson as he continues to recover from a torn ACL. Finally, Scout shows an offer to '18 ATH Cameron Fleming, who appears to be a shifty back that also plays some CB.

aaannnd now I see the thread in the other forum.

I don't know if anybody is watching this game between Basha and Pinnacle, but Pinnacle has a sophomore QB named Spencer Rattler that is the real deal. Best player on the field and that includes ASU commit 4* QB Ryan Kelley. Reminds me of Tate Martell in that he's a little smaller in stature but can really sling it. Has offers from ASU, Oklahoma, A&M and UCLA among others. BTW, Ben Thomas (CU offer) is his left tackle.
