COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- With no games to keep track of before this one, I had a chance to head down to the field for warm-ups. Missouri will be without defensive end Aldon Smith, but quarterback Blaine Gabbert looked unaffected by a hip pointer he suffered last week against Colorado.

He's playing through some pain, but his throwing motion and arm strength looked unaffected.

It's a gorgeous day here in the Brazos Valley, with some spotty clouds and a field that should warm up as the day passes. The chilly morning is already giving way to a warm afternoon, with temperatures approaching the 80s.

We're a few minutes away from kickoff, and I'll be chatting during the game. Come say hello.
