And all is right with the world.

Where are the crowd shots. I hope the best fans ever stick around to cheer on UCLA

With the amount of points Wyoming hung on the Butthuskers, the win by Ucla should come as no surprise. I love the fact that Li'l Bo Polini went on record saying the Butthuskers owe them (Ucla) one. It would appear that the Butthuskers aren't all that.

they made a mistake leaving the Big XII. no one cares about them in the Chicago midwest. at least in the medium media markets like Dallas and KC and STL and OKC...maybe Houston....people cared about Neb football, like or dislike. no one cares in Chicago about Nebraska.

without a media market you are dead these days.

that and Taylor Martinez sucks mostly. Pelini lacks the mental stability to be an elite coach. his teams play schizo.

It's comical how little of a visitor's section is provided at nubs. Plus it's in the top, far-away corner. Probably the smartest thing they're capable of doing.

Somebody has to love following their team to want to road trip to stinkoln. It's a long way from anywhere and is not known for it's visitors atractions.

It's hard to say that getting away from UT is ever completely bad but you make some good points. They also made their lives much harder recruitingwise. They used to and still do count on Texas and California for a lot of their recruits. They used to be able to promise the Texas kids a couple of trips a year to Texas/Oklahoma where their family and friends could see them and also a lot of TV games in Texas. Those same kids don't get overly excited about the BiG road schedule and the fusker games are rarely going to be the regional games shown in Texas. Even the Cali kids have less reason to go the kNU with the fuskers being less visible now in Cali and again a much less appealing road schedule.

UCLA made a day without CU playing much much easier! HAAAA!!!! HA!

Hope Boulder drying out a bit! Best wishes to all affected!

I wonder how huskerboard is taking all this. I thought Bo Pelini was supposed to take them to the level of Frank Solich.

Surely the classiest fans in the country were gracious in defeat and applauded their opponents as they left the field.

the chubs are now landlocked into B10/12/13/14 land. They are not going to win many recruiting battles against Michigan and tOSU. The Cali and Texas pipelines they built will dry up and they will be a BIG also ran. They really were in a tough spot, the B12 is being choked out by UT, and the P12 really had no place for them. Bravo Bruins...

No expert on Nebraska recruiting, but getting away from a conference anchored in Texas might not have been the best move. I know they see themselves as a national brand and think they can go wherever they want to recruit probably, but the B1G recruiting grounds are locked down as it is. They're not going to regularly get top talent from Ohio, Illinois, etc. B1G moving more into the Northeast adds some opportunities for schools, but there's a hell of a lot of better and closer options before a Jersey or DC metro kid chooses Nebraska.

they made a mistake leaving the Big XII.

They didn't have much choice at the end. The first indignation began when OU was placed in the south ending a yoy series that's as as old as the Big 8. Then the league offices and CCG moved to Texas. With the finances already tilted to UT the moment the Longhorns moved to create their own TV network and not share a penny of the money enough was enough and everyone knew the coup was complete. And then the A&M and CU card got played and the rest is history (as is the reconstituted SWC)

Pelini lacks the mental stability to be an elite coach. his teams play schizo.

This is a true statement. He hasn't worked out.

Nubs will be fine, as long as the rich farmers keep shelling out money to build nice Athletic facilities. In this day and age, you should be able to recruit from just about anywhere.

I still think Mizzou is more of a b1G team then the Nubs.
