****braska lineman Alex Lewis changes attorneys in Boulder assault case

change the thread title to future fusker lineman

He should never be associated with CU again.

I'm 100% speculating here but the previous attorney withdrawing due to "conflict of interest" often means that he was recommending the defendant (Lewis) accept the plea and not litigate the case because he thinks he has a poor chance of winning. The plea deal must not be that good and likely includes some jail time that would end his football career at Niblet U (or any other BCS school).

This baby is going to trial. Check out the bio of the new attorney from his firm...

For almost two decades, Gary Lozow has been chosen by his fellow lawyers, “Best Lawyers in America”, Chambers USA, and Colorado “Super Lawyers” as one of the state and country’s top criminal defense attorneys. He is a past Fellow of The American College of Trial Lawyers, and has been named in the Denver Business Journal awards for top white collar criminal defense attorneys.Gary has extensive state and federal trial experience in the area of criminal law. Gary has tried and won murder cases, violent crime cases, sexual assault cases, narcotics cases as well as white collar cases including matters involving securities, medicaid fraud, tax evasion, and multiple complex federal matters.

don't do the crime, if you can't do the time, alex.

don't do it!

and keep your eye.......... on the sparrow!

If guilty he should be doing time. From reports, it sounds like he really beat the crap out of that kid.

Since when has jail time ever ended a career as a fusker?
