News Junkie
BOULDER – BSN Denver can confirm that Colorado Buffaloes guard/forward George King is coming back to Boulder after putting his name on the NBA Draft’s early entry list. The redshirt junior led the Buffs in rebounding last year with 6.8 per contest.

King’s scoring dropped from 13.6 to 11.1 points a game from his sophomore to junior season following him being named the Pac-12’s Comeback Player of 2016. Most of this was due to a dip in shooting percentages, fewer perimeter opportunities with Derrick White and less open shots without Josh Scott.

King did not hire an agent so he essentially just tested the water to get a grade.

The six-foot-seven player will likely lead the Buffs on and off the court, he’ll have a bevy of younger players around him as well as Dom Collier, Tory Miller, transfer Namon Wright and more. Tad Boyle’s squad once again looks to be in a good portion talent wise as CU enters another season.
