The two-star football player played defensive back and running back in high school. His Hudl is littered with hustle plays, strong tackles and impact moves. Arizona State, California, Missouri, Nebraska, Tennessee, Washington and UCLA were also interesting in this prospect, and he received an offer from Wyoming.

Lewis averaged 5.2 yards a carry on 62 carries during his junior season. He also tallied 21 catches for 388 yards. According to Max Preps he also made 17 tackles and provided two interceptions. In total he scored five touchdowns for his high school last season.
