BOULDER – The University of Colorado women’s soccer team fought to a 0-0 draw against No. 18 Washington in a tight double-overtime match on Sunday afternoon at Prentup Field.

Colorado (10-6-1, 3-4-1 Pac-12) snapped its two-match skid with the draw and Washington (12-4-1, 5-2-1 Pac-12) extended its unbeaten streak to six matches.

Goalkeeper Kate Scheele made a critical save during the second overtime to prevent Washington from scoring the game-winner. The Huskies’ Shannon Simon sent a cross from the left side and forward Jaclyn Softli headed the ball near the back post, but Scheele had the driving save.
