The Buffs’ (7-3, 0-1 Pac-12) first contest is Friday, Oct. 3 at 4 p.m. MT against the 23rd-ranked USC Trojans. It will mark the sixth meeting between CU and USC with the Trojans leading the series 3-2. The Trojans are 7-1-2 overall and 1-0 in Pac-12 play. USC has scored 32 goals this season, which leads the conference.

The match will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks. Jason Knapp has the call and Tracey Bailey will assist with color.

Match Notes

Buffs get fortunate on a header by USC just over the crossbar

The Buffs goal was scored by Madison Krauser at the 5 minute mark of the match

A win at #23 USC would go a long way on the CU tourney resume.

1-0 at 66:15. Watching on PACN.

Weak effort by USC, but they got the corner chance.

CU holds but the women of Troy are dominating action.

Need to hold on. USC looks really good. Very active.

Buffs on the attack, but Krauser's shot is blocked by the defender

CU scoring chance but couldn't get the ball through to the net.

Would be nice to have a few minutes of ball control and to slow this down.

But USC is swarming.

CU getting some lucky breaks in the box as 2 USC passes just missed

USC defender just out-sprinted Brie Hooks. They're taller and faster than we are. I'd be very happy to escape with a win here.

80 minute mark and a USC corner coming up.

Looks like the Buffs focus will to just play D and try to hold on

CU goal kick inside of 6 minutes after a USC header goes wide.

Don't want to jinx it, but it looks like the Buffs will come away with a win here.
