The University of Colorado is looking for a new football coach. The athletic department and the University officials have not made this official yet (most likely since the only healthy quarterback the team has on scholarship, that is not currently going through a red shirt year, is the coach’s son), but you can rest assured that Mike Bohn has already begun the process of replacing the Dodo.
Any chance head coach Dan Hawkins had of saving his job for at least one more year flew out the door when his Buffaloes allowed the worst Kansas team in my life time score 35 straight forth quarter points to win, 52-45. The Jayhawks, who were averaging 16.1 points per game entering this contest, erased a 28-point Buffaloes lead.
The Dodo, who is acting like he is going to keep this job past the Nebraska game (I don’t know if I should give him credit, or label him a delusional psychopath, and call the authorities), seems to be aware of this situation, but is not sure of how to properly handle it.
