Soccer vs Oregon State Highlights
Wait, CU Soccer had gone two years without a home conference win? That's pretty incredible.
Happy for the team that they got that monkey off their back.
Yet another example of how much better the Pac 12 is at the olympic sports vs. the Big 12. We went from winning conference titles to being in the cellar overnight.
Nikki Marshall graduating had more to do with that than the change of conferences.

The two items are definitely not mutually exclusive and I realize that. The point remains that the PAC 12 is amazingly strong top to bottom in all of the the non-revenue sports.
There has been a lot that has gone on.
The 2000s were awful for CU athletics in general.
Not only did football decline in such a bad way, but sports like Volleyball, Soccer and Basketball (especially women's) that had regularly turned out winning seasons and post-season play went in the crapper.
I was looking at the Volleyball history last night, for example. After a couple rough years when the program started in the mid-80s, they were in the NCAA tourney nearly every year until the early 2000s. Then it all went to hell.
Starting to climb our way up the Pac virtually across the board and it's going to pay dividends OOC.
Maybe I missed the article mentioning it, but CU Soccer was ranked #19 in the nation in the RPI before this win. Only Stanford (#2) and UCLA (#7) are higher.
