It just wasn't meant to be. After pushing the clear favorite Utah to the brink, the Colorado Buffaloes Ski Team fell just short of its ultimate goal and finished second at the 70th Annual NCAA Ski Championships with the 20K classic races closing out the event here Saturday at Mt. Van Hoevenberg.
