FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The University of Colorado track and field program recorded seven first-place finishes on Saturday afternoon at the Fum McGraw Quadrangular, including five from the CU women.

Emily Hunsucker, the reigning Pac-12 Field Athlete of the Week, took top honors in the hammer throw. She was the only athlete in the field to record a throw over 200 feet as she came away with a mark of 208-7. CSU’s Kiah Hicks was Hunsucker’s closest competitor with a runner-up toss of 199-3.

Courtney Bouchet won the 3,000-meter steeplechase, her first of the season, in 11:07.69. She defeated the rest of the field by almost 10 seconds as Wyoming’s Audra DeStefano finished second in 11:17.02. Catrina McAlister also did well in the middle distance area and was the top collegiate finisher in the 1,500. She placed second behind Boulder Track Club’s Ellie Keyser (4:40.39) with a time of 4:45.38.
